Hi there! I’m TDS’s Oral Health Therapist and have made Melbourne my home. I graduated from Charles Sturt University and previously completed a Bachelor of Science at Monash University. Born and raised in Malaysia, I speak fluent English, Mandarin, and Hokkien, and I also understand Cantonese and Malay — so there’s a good chance I can chat with you in more than one language!
I’m a big believer in early prevention and love helping patients achieve a healthy smile they can feel proud of. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll probably find me hunting down the best coffee in town, baking up a storm, or staying active with tennis and table tennis — basically, if there’s a racket involved, I’m in!
My name is Ari Esterman, and I am the Senior Physiotherapist and owner of Melbourne Family Physiotherapy.
With over 10 years of experience in private practice, I have developed a deep passion and expertise in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions—with a particular focus on TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders and myofascial pain.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with patients experiencing acute and chronic pain, including spinal conditions, fibromyalgia, headaches, and migraines. My background also includes managing pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, casting, bracing, and treating adolescent and paediatric conditions.
I have had the privilege of running a fracture clinic in Sydney, working closely with surgeons on casting, boot care, and wound management. This hands-on experience has strengthened my holistic approach to patient care.
When it comes to TMJ disorders, I understand the significant impact jaw pain, clicking, locking, and associated headaches can have on everyday life. My approach to TMJ treatment combines advanced physiotherapy techniques, including myofascial release, dry needling, and tailored strengthening programs. I work closely with each patient to address the root cause of their pain and restore optimal jaw function.
At Melbourne Family Physiotherapy, we take pride in offering compassionate, evidence-based care. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to better health.
Hi there! With years of experience as a dental assistant and a background in counselling, I’m passionate about creating a comfortable and supportive space for every patient.
I especially love helping those who feel anxious about their dental visits, ensuring they feel heard, cared for, and at ease.
For me, it’s all about building trust and making every visit a positive experience!
Looking forward to meeting you!
Hi there! My name is Bri, and along with Elaine, I’ll be one of the first friendly faces you see when you visit us.
My journey in dentistry began as a Dental Assistant, where my deep passion for connecting with and caring for patients led me to transition to a front desk role. My mantra is to help reinvent the dental experience—making it luxurious and tailored to your specific needs.
When I’m not here, I’m studying for my Bachelor of Computer Science, a field I love applying to ensure seamless technology in modern dentistry.
I’m here to make sure your visit is smooth and stress-free, so feel free to reach out if you need anything.
I can’t wait to meet you!
Dr Vivienne graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) in 2009.
She is a compassionate and dedicated dentist who listens attentively and works thoroughly to help patients improve their oral health and aesthetics. She is creative, friendly, and enjoys making genuine connections with all of her patients.
Her special interests include cosmetic dental treatments, rehabilitation of worn dentition in adults, as well as clear aligner therapy (Invisalign) and early orthodontic intervention.
Dr Vivienne lives locally in Canterbury, with her children attending schools in the community. Having two young children, she understands the importance of these formative years for supporting healthy facial and jaw development and airway health. Creating healthy, functional smiles is Dr Vivienne’s greatest passion in dentistry.
She has completed extensive further studies in Dentofacial Orthopaedics and is experienced in providing Invisalign First (early orthodontic treatment).
Outside of dentistry, Vivienne enjoys calligraphy, graphic design, visiting art galleries, exploring Melbourne’s food scene, and traveling. Her young family also enjoys the outdoors and hiking adventures. One of her greatest achievements was reaching the summit of Half Dome in Yosemite, USA.
Dr Vivienne absolutely loves being a dentist, and the most rewarding aspect of her job is helping her patients achieve their dental goals, maintain strong teeth, and enjoy lifelong dental health.
Dr Amisha’s approach to dentistry is centered on ensuring her patients feel happy and confident with their oral health.
She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2013 from King's College London Dental Institute (UK) and continued her postgraduate studies in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics in Sydney at the International Academy of Advanced Dentistry (IAADENT). In 2021, she obtained her Diploma of Sleep Medicine and TMD (jaw joint disorders) from the University of Jaume I, Spain.
Dr Amisha has a special interest in designing smiles using minimally invasive techniques, blending aesthetic restorative options with orthodontic solutions such as clear aligners. She provides personalised care to patients of all ages, with a particular emphasis on comprehensive health principles.
Dedicated to ongoing postgraduate training, she focuses her practice on:
- Orthopaedics: Early intervention strategies aiming to manage jaw development and reduce the need for tooth extractions in children.
- Orthodontics: Levelling and aligning teeth with both fixed braces and clear aligners (such as Invisalign).
- Dental Sleep Medicine: Assisting in the management of sleep-disordered breathing, sleep apnea, and snoring in adults and children.
Maintaining current knowledge of modern dental advancements allows her to offer patients a wide array of options to align with their individual goals.
Dr Amisha takes pride in empowering her patients to make informed decisions about their oral health journey, always approaching her practice with a supportive and caring manner.
In her free time, Dr Amisha is committed to a whirlwind of outdoor adventures, (amateur) culinary creations, and training her fluffy labradoodle, Chai, to do some pawsome tricks!
